    Buzzards in the Netherlands are very shy when he smell danger they fly away immediately.
    This was in the middle of a forest on an open area
    Bait placed, it took two weeks before he came to the bait.

    You are a patient man :) You did a good job waiting for a decent head angle and did a good job with the somewhat filtered light..... There are several distracting elements: the o-o-f twig and the yellow spot above the head and the two long grasses parallel to and above the back....

    Carel nice image of this Buzzard, I like the head turn and alert eye contact with good detail all round.

    Did you need to replace the bait, or did other animals get to it too? In any case, you are indeede a patient man! Great pose, love the dispersed feathers/fur. Many of the BG distractions should be easy to "fix" and would greatly add the image's finish.
