Sunflower in Sun

Not sure what to make of this image I was out photographing and the sun was strong We were using diffusers for bugs and flowers but thought I wanted something different

Exposing for the flower would make the sky high key I ended up with what I had in mind Any thoughts I'm more a bug person but do enjoy flowers

High key done well and the two leaves form a nice curve between the petals. The sudden drop off of color on the bottom of the stem seems a little off to me. Nice coloring overall

I like the affect Alfred but would have preferred to see the flower and its colors more bold. Should be easy to do in PS.

Was trying to get the deeper tones and started looking strange !!!! Will work as soon as I have a handle on the names :eek::)

I love it like this but agree on the disappearing stalk. Would love to see it with a thin green stroke around it.
