The Osprey are starting to return to there nests in my area. Taken near Jamestown, VA.
    Sony A700, 70-400G @400mm, f8, 1/1000, iso800, +1.7ec. Cloned out some small branches. Levels, S/H, and sharpen on bird.
I left the upper branch to balance the composition and because I liked the way it framed the bird.

What a treat. I like this alot bc of the pose, sharpness and the "new" osprey look this bird has!

great job with the exposure. Looks like light wasn't in the best position but you made the best of it!

Wow! I like this shot. I understand why you left the upper branch but personally, I might have cloned this out to give a cleaner background. But that's just me. :)

I like this one a great deal. It looks like a young'in. Good exposure and position. I'd go in-between with the crop. I would leave the diagonal in the upper right, but clone the branch above his head. IMO, this would still frame the bird, but not make it feel as cramped.
