Here is an image from last spring. My good 2 fox locations this winter though have not produced anything. Worried the coyotes have run them out. I decided for a shallow DOF on this giving more of a portrait feel to it.

    Kurt,

Nice up-close-and-personal feel to this image. i would selectively sharpen the eyes some more.

I agree it could be sharpened some more.

Will have to take a second look tomorrow when my eyes are not playing tricks - it is late here in the UK :)

Very appealing look to this image however I would agree on a some more sharpening, even if just to the eyes.

Very nice portrait, with nice muted colours.

    Looks sharp enough to me:2

Hi Kurt a very engaging image with a good POV and i love the curled position with the legs tucked under the body.

Would agree with Robert about some more selective sharpening. It looks as if the focus point was in the centre of the forehead as the ears have great detail & good sharpness, but then it drifts off a little as you look at the eyes & below. Easy to check where the FP was and if it was lower then perhaps a slight calibration of body & lens may be required?

like the soft light and cute pose here Kurt
agree on the sharpening but it might be a focusing issue as mentioned! :)
