    Default Pushing the Envelope

    Hi Folks;

    Took a photo from last year of a diving Gila Woodpecker, then a Envelope stuck on a branch today, and for kicks a piece of a Con trail in the sky I took a couple of days ago. (Not completely sure how I feel about the con trail, maybe larger, maybe on other ends of bird or envelope- lots of maybe's, but sorta like it the way it is maybe because I didn't want more layers to work on

    CC's always welcome and appreciated.

    Warm hugs to all.

    Gus aka MP

    I was wondering how long it would take for an envelope to show up in one of these edits!

    I like the contrail but I'd get rid of the dark blue streaks between the bird and the envelope. Also, there seem to be a lot of artifacts around the edges of the bird and envelope that should be easy to remove.

    Hi; Seeing I had the orginal PSD, I cleaned up the layers with eraser at 200%.

    Have another look.

    Gus, I'm glad to see you posting! I love this!! The contrail is cool and fits perfectly IMO. I love the envelope and the woodpecker is awesome. I do still see parts of the blue that Ken was referring to in the repost. I might tone down the whites on the woodpecker-very, very cool image and design Gus !!!!

    Too much Gus! Last night I was thinking about doing an image very similar to this. Now I don't have to. Very clever and the re-post cleaned it up nicely. Thanks!

    Very creative image, Gus! I'd say it definitely "pushes the envelope!" The last repost is perfect.

    Gus,

    Welcome back. Only you could do this and do it so well. Last re-post is my favorite. Well done.
