    I think this is my best picture taken to date. Thanks for all your guys help so far. As always CC welcome! I am not entirely happen with the crop though...

    The exposure, focus and lighting are just about perfect on this one, Cody.
    I see detail in the extreme darks and whites, and the mid-ranges all look good.
    The comp is excellent as well. The bird is framed properly, and it has room to the left and above where it can 'fly to.'
    It would be helpful in evaluating your images if you were to include your camera, lens, and camera settings.

    Cody, this is gorgeous - i love the action in the pose and the ruffled feathers. beautifully captured!

    Sorry normally do but I posted this before I went to bed so wasn't thinking. Thanks a lot for the kind words. Did a little bit of noise reduction and sharpening. Also a small curves adjustment to bring out some details in the shadows. Also the sky was a little bland before so bumped the blue saturation a bit.

    I like this alot, kinda a "nouveau Canada goose!" What a treat, the details are lovely. I like the wisps that I just noticed! TFS

    Nicely done! Great Head angle! I like the crop- there is room where you need it. I might try to remove the leg band for the wall!

    I like the pose a lot specially how the wings are captured in this photo. Lovely shot.
