    This youngster (about 1 year) was sensibly laying in the shade whilst with another the same age in Kwara concession, Okavango Delta, Botswana, 25th December 2010 (right year this time) About 30% of original image.

    EOS 1D MkIV

    500mm F4 IS hand-held from open game viewing vehicle.

    Looks very lush and green. Nice portrait of the youngster and good eye contact.

    I like his surroundings Ken. I would selectively sharpen the cub.

    Ken - very cute and I like the comp with the surrounding foliage. IQ seems to have held up well to the crop.

    like the inquisitive look here from the dense lush bushes Ken
    nice eye contact and colour contrasts between the tawny lion and green foliage

    I agree with Robert on selective sharpening - for me it will work on the face :)

    Thanks for all of your comments it seems that sharpening is becoming a problem for some, looks OK on Tiff.

    The lush vegetation really enhance here Ken, good POV and eye contact, agree on a touch more USM on the cub.
