Lovely bird very nicely captured! Maybe a bit big in the frame.
I really like this image. I like the pose and very nice soft and complimentary colours.
The only small nit is that a bit of tail is covered by the small stick.
The one foot up adds a lot for me.

Beautiful bird, nicely captured. Nice HA, details and sharpness.
Enjoyed your blog too.
Great pose and bg. IMG is sharp and well exposed. Like the glint in the eye![]()
Rakesh, excellent sharpness on the head....very nice pose. I'd have prefered more DOF here though.
Cool bird. Good COMP and EXP. For the repost I cleaned up the LLC, added the tail tip as best as I could, and lightened the black of the face, all as described in Digital Basics. (Update coming any second!)

Artie did exactly what I was going to suggest only other thing would be some more space around the subject

Repost vastly improves the esthetics of the image. I wouldn't mind more room around but like it this way too. Love the crest, techs look spot on, and details very nice.
Thanx Artie for the repost . The tail looks brilliant . Definetly improved .
YAW Rakesh. I uses the Clone Stamp Tool and a series of small Quick Masks (with Layer Masks addes). I took as guess as to the lighter tail tip as there was a hint of that in the original....
