A beautiful image, what is the BG?.

Perhaps a tad more space at the top?

It may be big but the one in Mysore is even bigger

Thanx Ken. He was scratching himself with his horns , So the BG is is his own skin . Yeah They do get mighty big .

The lodge on B R Hills does not have any fencing and the back up electricity is shut off at night . So , when i had to go to the 'Gol Ghar ' for dinner , these giants crossed my path inches away from . And in the night , it can strike some fear in you. One of the more rustic lodges , I have stayed in ....a great experience .

Nicely composed and great detail on the horn. I like the eye rolling with the effort or pleasure of scratching the itch. Would love to see a larger image.

I would agree what some more room on top and to left would have been good. Also, at the bottom where you lose detail, that can be reduced/cropped.

Very nice and I like the effect of his body as the bg. I agree with the suggestions for a little more room.

nicely framed and exposed! are they even larger than Cape Buffalo?
I agree with the suggestions for cropping some off the bottom and adding more on top if you have it

Great job seeing and capturing this moment! Did you add some black bar at the bottom to place your signature? It looks like it and I think that is making this feel unbalanced. If not, I agree about dropping some off the bottom. Not sure if you have more room on top since he/she is scratching itself. If you do, I would add a touch back, but I still .like the placement in the frame.

yeah Kurt . There is a black band for the signature . I used to use that frame then .

A lot of suggestions to add some canvas above . But that would actually be the background other than his body . My target was to ensure that there is no separation between the head and the body .

I like your idea of using his body as the BG. The warm tones of the ear and horn make a nice contrast with the rich dark color of his fur.
