Thought I would combine a couple of ideas...

First I made a nice wallpaper from the egret using PB kaleidoscope filter. Then I did a mini-world treatment on it (horizontal flip, squared, polar coordinates). Selected the round part of that and placed it on top of a nice blue sky rendered with reptile skin, of course.

    Kerry,

I love this! It looks like a finely painted dinner plate hanging on a wall with some wild looking wallpaper. Well done.

Kerry, Very cool! It does look like a plate-I love the mini-rose and frog design.

Very neat! I'd love to have some plates like that! The background is very cool.

Cool! Decorative plate was the first thing that crossed my mind, too!

I thought dinner plate as well. Just think....you can design dinner plates on the side. I love the colors and the design. Just not sure I'd want a plate with all those eyes looking back at me though.

Thanks Lana! At last I've found an outlet for my work! Might be a small clientele though... Imagine how many eyes there would be in a 6-place setting.

Beautifully done, Kerry! Love the changing geometry in the "plate". Count me as another who enjoys the frogs and flowers.
