I haven't posted much lately due to work and many other distractions, but I have lurked some. Today we had yet another 12-15 inches of the white stuff so I went back through some 2010 images and found this one from June. Kind of reminds me of nice things to come.
I also think Sparrows are often over looked as they are not "exotic". However, I still think they are cute and beautiful

Thanks for looking. C&C most welcome.

Sparrows are among my favorite birds, and I am looking forward to their return (althought the American Tree Sparrows will depart!). Chipping Sparrtows in particular are great backyard project birds...very "urban" and easy to work. Nice comp and details, good BG. HA needs to be turned this way a bit as it is currently looking away, and the throat area seems hot. I take it the bird was somewhat backlit and illuminated with some flash?

Thanks Daniel. Yup! the throat is hot and it was flashed a bit. This is why I didn't process it last Spring. It just struck me as a Srping reminder when I was going through my older files.
