    Found this red-morph Eastern Screech Owl roosting in a tree cavity at a local park.

    Nice looking fella. Sharp with great detail. Might tone down the snow just below him a little. Great shot

    The red morph plumage looks great against the more nutrally toned bark! Techs look good, including the snow. Great eyes but I do wish it was looking down at you rather than up and above. I'm sure that cropping to just beneath the snow band currently skimming along the top would strenghten the comp.

    This image shows the feather pattern well. We have one around here that lives in the center of a trunk too. Well done!
