    Peter,

This is really good, I am sure some may not enjoy the waterhole surroundings, but you have done a great job in minimising it.

Peter lovely moment here...nice light too...I'm curious - are lions in Etosha slightly different in coloration compared to others? these seem very red to me - is it just the golden light playing on their coats?

The look in their eyes is very captivating . Looks like they are ready for a hunt . I see a lot of flies around them ..... are they a huge problem there ??

    Peter,

I like it a lot. I would have liked to see a bit more room left and right. Assuming you were constrained by the 600mm, you can pan left make image, pan right, make image and stitch in the edges latter in PS. I do this all the time with my bear images.

Peter - this is great and the flies add to the image. I would prefer a little more room to the left so that the tail wasn't right at the edge. They seem a little wary, was that of the vehicles?

Lovely image. Agree with Robert's point regarding stitching images. Not sure why more don't try it with wildlife. I haven't tried it either, but then I don't usually have the fire power to worry about being too close and of course, don't often think about it but it works for Robert's bears so it's worth practising IMO.
