    Another one in the Least Bittern Series

    Hi all. Just got back from the Alligator Farm, images to follow. But, this is another one from the bittern afternoon at Viera. D300, Nikon 500 with 1.4TC, iso800, f 8, 1/1250, ec -1.0

    Well exposed and sharp and a good catch! Pose a bit awkward and BKGR a bit busy.

    nice this bird in it's environment, I like the pose and the background.

    Nice image Nancy. It's great that you got this little guy out in the open, the tadpole in the bird's bill really adds to the image.

    Beautiful bird... I think this is a great representation of this bird in his environment. Perhaps the pose is just awkward for us humans as it seems to be serving him just fine.

    Nice capture. I love the pose....the way the bird is clutching the reeds is pretty cute and indicates an individual style! The tadpole is a big plus as is the wings up pose. I like the background. Well done.
