    Todd:

Excellent exposure, light off to your left gave nice modeling effect on neck, like the slightly windblown do.

If it were mine, I would consider moving the bird to the right by cropping on right and adding canvas to the left if needed. I would also consider a very small crop from the top, which would also remove the large specular highlight in RUC.

I might also hit the eye with a bit more sharpening.

    Cheers

    Randy

Nice colors. I agree with Randy re cropping from the right but would crop also more from the bottom to reduce the dark part of the feathers. There are some large circular features to the right of the head - cloning marks? The background also seems a bit noisy. JR

    Joerg:

I am pretty sure the circles you mentioned are just additional specular reflections, although very faint.

I would agree on a crop from the top and the rear. And a bit off the bottom would have helped as well.

How late did they let you stay????

Thanks Todd. Big time bummer about them eliminating the photo pass.... Did they ever build what they were gonna build over the Wood Stork nests?

If you are referring to the towers for ziplines, then yes still being built. Amazing they could build something so close to a rookery. Not only an eye sore but can't imagine it being good for all the birds nesting there, loud construction and probably a lot of yelling when complete.

How about collisions in flight??? That's what the big family feud is/was about. I understand that the brother in law may be suing them....
