    Great pose, Stan! Classic.

    I'm glad you mentioned the crop. I think it might look even better with no crop, especially if all of the bird can be shown.

    I'm a cropaholic myself, and I'm always fighting the addiction to get too tight.

    Stan,

    I think the crop works well. I really like the graphic look of the image. I would wish for a head turn to get the head parallel to the camera. I do see some green color cast in the shadows. Try a levels adjustment, select the gray dropper, using the info pallet pan the dropper around the image and find a neutral (same RGB values) area and click on it. Cast should go and whites get white. If not, CTRL-Z to undo and try other spots.

    Thanks to all for your helpful comments. I tried to warm up the image in PS and have to watch introducing a color cast, especially as I am slightly red-green color blind.
