Finally came up with something for this theme. I used quick mask to select the black-eyed susan and then replaced the BG using two of my textures. Then I desaturated the image, applied a few texture overlays using one of my textures and two textures from Shadowhouse("Softly Aged Sepia" and "Softsick"), desaturated the vignette around the flower a bit, desaturated the reds and upped the yellow saturation, and finally added a slight blur overlay. Comments and suggestions would be most appreciated.

Christopher, I really like the way this one looks. I love the bending stem and the face of the flower. There is a small dark area near the top of the stem. The vignette is perfect!!!

Very nice textures and I like the processing of the flower and the vignette effect.

    Christopher,

Great use of effects to create the feeling of age.The curve of the stem and tilt of the flower make for a graceful composition. Well done.

Excellent composition, Christopher. I too love the curved stem with open face of the flower. Nice texture and the effect.

Thanks everyone! Much appreciated. Denise, thanks for pointing out the dark area on the stem, that's an easy fix.
