    Rufous Hummingbirds are migrants here. This pretty female is the first we've seen.

    Great shot of a female Rufous - very tough to get the females, they seem much more shy than the males.

    The image - especially the head - is a bit soft on my monitor; looks like the focus point may have been the back of the neck. There is a halo around the bill and far wing, and the BG is very noisy.

    The colors are really lovely,good exposure, angle in frame, background.

    I do agree with John on the sharpness and halos. If this is not full frame, I would loosen the crop a bit, which will help with the apparent IQ a bit, revisit your sharpening routine to see if it can be tweaked.

    Hope to see more of your migrants! We only get ruby throated hummers here, and I love to see the others.
