Out and about with Lloyd this PM before our NWPLI meeting. Found 2 co-operative pair of Redheads in some late light on some beautiful water.

Slight crop for comp. Almost full frame.

Joe, I like the angle and the sharpness. I might tone down the belly just a touch if it were mine.(probably the conversion). Water colors are intense. You did great getting him in w/ the full frame shot.

    Joe,

Shadow/Highlight adjustment in PS using the highlight sliders would bring down the belly and wings just right.

Killer BG and great wing flap position combined with a good head turn.

Super Joe. Love how the colors of the water match the colors in the duck. Wing position and flying water droplets are sweet.

Joe, good suggestions on toning down the brightest parts. I think this is really nice with the pose of the bird and the colors in the water -- way cool!

Very nice Joe. I like the wing-spread and colors in the image. I do agree with the belly being a tad too bright.

Very appealing image that will be even better with the bright areas toned down. Good wingflap pose, and I love the deep colours to the water although I'm wondering if the cyans are a bit strong. What was the focal lenght used for this image?
