    Default Mr. & Mrs. Inukshuk

A garden center a short drive from my home has these two ornamental inukshuks out front along the highway. The other day, I though I would dig them up and try a fractalius of them. Most of our snow is gone - hoping for more so I can re-shoot this scene with snow instead of green grass. Used the Glow 100 preset and then tweaked the sliders and further tweaking with Viveza.

I saw my first Horned larks on my road today. These are the first birds to arrive in the weeks leading up to spring. Hard to believe, but in 3-4 weeks the frogs will be singing in the vernal ponds in the fields out back.

    Look forward to comments.

Very cool Andrew and great eye for this one! The fractalius filter took this to another level. I also feel that the primary colors add to the feel. Well done.

    Andrew,

Very creative use of effects with a fun subject. Nicely done. I'm just a little bothered by the dark area of sky without frac lines in the upper left as it seems to upset the balance.

Your fract work certainly brought the image to life. I like the composition and colors as well.

Mr. and Mrs. seem to be welcoming Spring! Neat image, graphics and application of frac! If the snow does come I hope it doesn't last long.

Thanks for the comments folks. Very much appreciated. Pouring rain all day today - no sign of snow.
