Photographed at Ft. DeSoto, FL. This particular bird was enjoying the morning light and preening like nobody's business. As if he suddenly realized I wasn't part of the natural environment he gave me this stare. It took him a fraction of a second to understand I meant him no harm and he went back to preening.

Very strong image graphically, like the base provided by the trunk and partial wings. Sharp, well exposed. The multi toned background works well for me, but I would cover up the small patches of blue at the very top.
Signature is OK, but the graphic is very distracting.
