Less than a week old wood duckling was taken 3 yrs ago in Santee - a month after i got addicted to this hobby (or my wife calls it an obsession). Shot in jpg (didnt know about RAW at that time)
D70, 80-400mmVR set at 400mm; f8; 1/400sec; processed in CS3 - just levels & contrast adjustment, and a bit of sharpening. didnt touch saturation - may be i should have desaturated a bit.
How nice, cute little guy and the concentric ripples are great. Exposure is right on and the sharpness is super.
I would quick mask the light areas and lighten the rest of the image, its okay as is, but lighter would be more appealing, just dont use levels. Use curves with a mask.
Well done and kudos to Robert on the excellent re-post. What do you all think of the stick???
Later and love, artie
