    2/20/11 Bald Eagle near Klamath Falls on CA/OR border
    D7000 f4.5 500mm 1/6400 ISO 200



    heavy crop, mild light/contrast and unsharp mask adjustments. Wild eagle without call/bait. Submitted repost of image before this reply, hopefully it will show up.

    Strong pose, like the feet poking out, good background with clouds(snowy mountains?)

    The crop is very tight as posted, and because of the loss of IQ with the large crop, I would consider a looser crop with added room on all sides. The looser crop should help with the visible noise in the background as well.

    Lovely subject as a first post - I've never seen a bald eagle from so close so I appreciate viewing them when posted by others. Good critique by Randy S. which I agree with. Looking forward to more...and don't be shy to offer constructive comments on others' images too!
