Here is another image from Costa Rica. It is referred to as siete colores (seven colors). The perch is a little too large but was not part of my set-up. I have others with a more proportional perch that I will post soon. All C&Cs are appreciated.

Like the pose. As you point out the perch is a little large. The colors look a little washed out on my monitor.

Hi, Jim. I agree with Doug's take on this one. A little curves or contrast and saturation should really bring this guy out more. Such a cool species!

    Cheers,
    Greg

Jim, agree -- much better, though I think it could go a bit darker, particularly on the perch and top of the head. Perhaps it's my monitor though. The sharpness really comes through much better on the repost, due to the adjustments I suppose.

    Cheers,
    Greg

Thanks for the feedback. I will tweak it a little more.

I like the repost Jim. Nice enquiring pose with good eye contact. I might consider a crop from the left and the bottom.

The original is posted in RGB...when viewed in PS in sRGB it is much better and vibrant.

Jim, it is always best to convert your web version to sRGB before saving, this way everyone will observe your image the way you intended them too (most people do not use colour-managed web browsers).

Good pickup Daniel. I didn't notice that.
