    Default Redo of Hooded Merganser

I posted a shot of a Hooded Merganser from the Viera Wetlands a week or so ago
and the consensus was the background was too busy. It was suggested that I do some
cropping and background cleaning. Here is an effort at that.

Hi Garry- I liked the first post (although didn't get a chance to comment). This one is outstanding. It is really "in your face" which I love. The feet are fabulous. Don't know if it's possible to get some detail out of the white flash on the head? A head turn slightly more towards you would be optimal. Love it.

Pretty much agree with John's comment. My biggest concern is also those blown highlights. Would be perfect if more details are there. I may sharpen the eye more, too

Oh, I think I also see some pp marks in the blue background

I remember your OP and I liked it a lot but this is really nice as well. I ahve the same concerns as John and Desmond on the hot whites.
