This morning I found a couple female surf scoters diving for food. This gal came up a new clam on each of three closely spaced dives before gliding off. I made a rather minor crop and adjustments to the image . . .

That's a great opportunity you got of it coming by with a beautiful clam in its bill. Well exposed and sharp, but the WB is off (way too red) and I've done some eye doctor work to make the eye stand out more. Hope you like!

Daniel, appreciate your critique re. WB. I had hoped to make the image look "sunnier" on what was a very overcast morning. Obviously I overdid it! And of course, the eye looks much better. Thanks for your help . . .

Definitely prefer the re-post. The details on the bird are really nice, and the clam is a bonus. I'd try selectively sharpening the end of the upper bill.
