    This dunnock was taken back at the end of december. That is the reason for the puffed-up/cold look. It was different to get them out of the undergrowth. In a perfect world I would probably favour the head to be turned away a little more and I would do some more work to clean the perch.

    Hi Ben- I really like the round puffy shape on the vertical perch--gives the image lots of interest. Reminds me of a carmel apple on a stick! Also like the subtle brown and gold colors of the feathers against the white background. I concur with your personal critique. Alex

    Yes, the head angle could be better. I would crop some off the left and top. For me, too much space there.
