One of two very hungry Lionesses on the prowl, please note the badly scarred nose. Later in darkness they caught a Reedbuck.

Taken in Kwara concession, Okavango Delta, 30th December 2011.

Nice up close image Ken. Nice light to work with giving some good color. Very well composed. Good sharpness, that is a nasty old wound on her nose. Well done.

Ken, glad to see you can time travel (30th December 2011)

I really like this one, one of my favorites of yours so far. Well composed, nice light, great expression, colorful and interesting surroundings. Well done.

Very nice light on this which really make the image. That and the face which has so much character. I like the detail in the grasses.

Nice light on the face and great vibrant greens. She may have a scarred nose but she still has beautiful teeth

Ken - nice close-up and comp in good light and with pleasing surroundings. That is a nasty old gash to the nose and also looks like she has a broken right front tooth.

    Thanks for your appreciative comments.

Robert at least I got the right century, which is pretty good for me

Morkel, it was taken in natural light.
