Nice shot Harshad. I like the dappled sunlight and the way the mane curves between his face and shoulder. The BG is nicely blurred and the color is complimentary. You needed that front fly to get a little closer to his forehead to stay in formation

Harshad - a nice, pensive lion. I'd prefer a little more room below if you have it.

    Harshad,

I know lions come in very many differing shades, and I have seen a vaguely "ginger" one before, are you happy with the colours?

Agrre with Rachel regarding a little more room but it is not a deal breaker.

    Harshad,

A very regal image of a very regal subject. I agree with wthe more reooom on bottom comment. Really like the soft light and dappled lighting.

Love the color and the pose really shows how powerful this lion is.

Nice portrait Harshad. Good looking lion, nice exposure in some nice light. Good sharpness as well. Well done.

lovely composition and use of the dead space here Bhai! regal pose indeed and the dappled lighting is sweet...

agree with Ken - would just desaturate the red channel slightly to get the colour back in line

anyone who has never been close to lions to smell them would wonder what all the flies are doing there

Harshad, I didn't see this lion but I have to say that I find the OP colour quite attractive and although you have made colour corrections in the repost I feel that it has made it rather lack lustre. Go with your heart … you may have seen a lion in particular light which looked this golden and so it is worth keeping like that.
