James, Love them!!
I can just imagine had the near wing been extended higher with the sun illuminating it!! Did you lighten it in post? In any regards, this is yet another wonderful image.![]()

Beautiful capture and excellent processing to bring out the detail in the front wing (I assume it was lightened a smidge?)
Great image, as usual!

Not much to say here, other than this is terrific! Some photographers provide continual inspiration to others and you, Jim, are one of them!
Jim, you are the man! The pose, the light, the bg - all stunning.
James, another beauty. loved the angle and BG. nice to see the blue on the far wing.
James, A beautiful image, nice BG ,sharpness and light.![]()
James you just keep producing these excellent DIF images. All has been said above - well done.
I'm going to use this image as a learning moment. I find that I still struggle with whites, though I'm getting better. If this were my image, well first and foremost I'd be thrilled. But to me, the reflective white on the side looks too harsh and a bit burned out. I'd probably try to tone it down, or sharpen it less so it didn't jump out so much.
Am I way off base here?
