    This was taken in Costa Rica. I used a set-up with bananas to attract the birds. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

    Jim:

    I like the angle perch and the pose it created, nice look back, good exposure, sharp, complimentary BG.

    I might consider a modest crop from the right hand side, about 40% of the free space in from the right.

    Beautiful bird and perch. I too would have placed the subject a bit further to the right, and I would lighten the darker patch in the BG behind the tail as it tends to draw the eye there. Excellent pose, looks very sharp as posted, and love the overall colours.

    Nice perch, pose, and BG. Excellent detail. I would crop half of the space between the bottom of the perch and the right edge of the frame.

    Stunning work. I liked as posted, but after seeing the new crop, I like it even better. Great job!

    The new crop and the toning down of the dark area has brought this image up many notches! Great repost.

    Repost is waaaay better. Some terrific suggestions above.

    Loved the sharpness, BG, pose, perch, HA...beautifully done. Can it go a tad brighter?
