    Hi Folks;

    Our Arizona State bird, Cactus Wren is calling his mates together for a Chit Chat about the rising economy. "No cuts in feed allowance."

    Comments & Redo's always welcome.

    I shoot RAW & Fine Large JPG. This time used the JPG with very little crop, and very little USM only.

    Olympus E-3, Zuiko Digital 70-300mm f4.0-5.6 ED, @ 140-600 mm equiv. fill flash, Olympus TTL @-o.30
    Aperture Priority: f/5.6, 1/1250s, ISO 250, 0.30eV, CWA, AWB

    Very nice, Gus. Good detail and sharpness. An interesting BG, I like it. Wish the perch was smaller and not cut at the end. Also wish he was turned towards us a little more.

    agree this is a nice picture and I think one that would be much better with a couple degrees more towards the camera HA. Nice job!

    Hi Peter;

    I can fix the branch: Cropped piece of branch behind feet behind feet, flipped, positioned and cleaned with bg eraser. Head angle will have to do. Doesn't annoy me.

    Thanks for looking

    Best regards

    Gus

    Hi Cody;

    Thanks for both of your kind comments. Maybe if hide the suet he'll look my way for it? Not as out in left field as it sounds - my goldfinches would never pose on the branch under the thistle feeder, so, I took the feeder down and for 2 days they were sitting on the branch looking for the feeder.

    Just something I learned in god's country in the North West. When I got tired of the rain I moved to sunny Arizona.

    Best regards

    Gus
