OK......so perhaps it was lack of sleep......but this was from my workshop with James down in Tampa on Saturday night! Things started out OK (Maureen Allen was with us)......as we were going over things that are in the book.......then we started to get stupid....aka doing things not in the book!

What happened next is a bit disturbing.....as I put a Nikon flash with a multi strobe setting on My Canon camera. The known universe went haywire and this is the last known image James took before he disappeared in the cosmic hole. Once I took the flash off the camera.....luckily he reappeared....albeit a bit shaky! Some things in the universe should just not be messed with!

Gee Chuck, the evening started out innocent enough. Only to quickly spiral out of control.
It's amazing what you can learn "getting stupid"*
(*getting stupid means you won't find it in a book and/or someone said you shouldn't or can't do it)

Roman, congratulations on your good sense to chose me as your subject(Maureen refused).

And yes we had a blast.

The first workshop module began at 8AM the last concluded around 9:30PM.
That might help explain some of the interesting in camera creations from this weekend.

Definitely some disturbance going on, but I'm not sure which side of the camera is more disturbed. Nice composite with the holiday lights.

    Roman,

James Shadle is the "Chuck Norris" of photography. Around him disturbance feels disturbed.
