    Got very low for this shot This was a habituated colony in the Makgadikgadi Botswana. Nikon D3 70-200 VRII taken at 200mm. 1/1600 at F4 ISO200.

    Great light and nice warm colors. Really like the low angle.

    Sweet BG and light, good vertical composition and head-angle make this very appealing.

    A lovely classic meerkat image. POV and DOF excellent but what makes this image for me is the sand on the nose … wonderful.

    Vivaldo - well done. I like the pose, bg and comp. For me the sand that it's standing on adds a tonal quality to the image.

    Beautiful image Vivaldo. One of my wifes favorite critters. Sweet light on this guy, with noice low shooting angle. Good sharpness and exposure. As mentioned dirt on nose makes for a nice touch. Well done.
