    Default Lesser Scaup sprint

Certainly not without flaws...but I liked the angle and the action. The drake in the Bg, I guess, can be considered either a distraction or part of the story.

I like this too. Love the sharpness, the exposure, and the action. Like how both feet are off the water, how the wings look and all the splashed water. For me the OOF birds add to the image, it give me a sense of a race.

Good angle of approach, and just love the intense concentration on the duck. Apart from the kicked up water from behind, I also like the droplets on the body.

Excellent Kaustubh, love the approaching action and don't mind the OOF bird in the BG. Wing position and water splash adds nicely to this image TFS

Great action and perfect sharpness and exposure. I would get rid of the OOF white circles in the BKG.

    Kaustubh:

I agree with the others. The back bird helps tell the story. Great sense of action because of wing blur and flying water.

Do agree with Clemens about removing some of the specular highlights in the BG, esp those in the LUC and by the back bird.

    Cheers

    Randy

I too like the bird in the BKGR. Love the SH and the splashing. I only wish that we could see the second foot of the main subject.

Love this image Kaustubh, great action captured and excellent comp. Good sharpness and nice water action. OOF drake in BG is not a distraction but adds a lot to the image.

Awesome image and the out of focus Drake in the background adds to the image in my opinion. Great job, Dave

Thx a lot everyone. I wont claim that I tried to include the bird in the BG :-)...it just happened and I liked it.
