Interesting bird and good wing position. My only suggestions would be to add a bit more canvass above and to the right of the bird, and to reduce the amount of sharpening a bit due to the appearance of a sharpening halo. The color of the sky also seems a little dark to me, and I would suggest brightening it a bit, making it a paler blue.

But this is otherwise a nice image, and I'm glad you shared it with us.

I have to scroll to see the image on my laptop but I am o.k. without added canvas.

Nice flight capture, Jan. I like the detail and on my monitor I can't see any halo. I think you have enough room for the bird to fly into, but do agree that the sky is a little dark.
I witnessed my first Gannet feeding frenzy recently off the beach in NC, USA. It was an awsome thing to watch. Unfortunately they were in really harsh light I I did not manage any good images.

Jan a lovely image with good detail in the whites and nice flight angle. I am fine with the composition and space.
