    Default Diving Red Kite



    Tracking these with an 800mm is a thrill, and makes you wonder at your cameras technology, a D3 in this case, I had upped the ISO to increase the shutter speed on this wet day, did the trick nicely. Taken at F/6.3 aperture priority.

    Hi Tim, what was the SS and ISO?
    I love the position and HA of the bird. I'm finding some of the BKGR distracting, especially the white area right behind the head. You might want to consider cloning it out if it fits with your ethics.

    Hi Alvin,
    I quite like the coincidental halo, shows off the birds handsome features.
    The iso was 1000, shutter speed 1/640th.

    Hi Tim, interesting posture captured here, seems like he's twisting in mid-air. I do like the colours, and would try and tone down the light spots.
