Nice composition. I like the inclusion of the feather in front of the bird and the green fg and bg. Is the breast slightly hot or is there just no detail there?

Lovely perspective here. As Mike has already pointed out, the feather in the Fg is a nice addition! I do however see a whitish 'very dull' circle at a 45 degree angle to the right from the beak, i wonder what it is?

The breast wasn't over exposed but it is a bit bright hence no detail, I suspect the circle is an out of focus gull that has not been cloned properly. I am having trouble with Photoshop at present, I think it is due to Windows Vista, (clone and brush and content ware scale seem to have a mind of their own), I intend to get Windows 7 before long.

Great low angle, especially taken from your car and I like the separartion between subject/FG and BG. Although I aprreciate the inclusion of the feather I am not to fond of its location so close to the subject's feet. The pose certainly is different, albeit a bit awkward (I would have preferred the body to be either more straight on, or more parallel to the viewer).
