    this one is beautiful Ian, I love the perch and the way you cropped it. Wish his foot was in focus - but gorgeous.

    Thanks, pat. Now I have to go back and see if I have one with that foot correct. I think it's motion blur. I know I have some with the foot down, but I liked the raised foot.

    Nice looking Sandpiper, Ian. I like the raised foot pose. The perch is nice but I think it is a little overwhelming. i would go with a tighter crop if IQ will hold up.

    I like this one Ian. Beautiful BG, warm tones and great light. I agree about a tighter crop which would highlight the subject more. An ideal head angle would have the head rotated a little CW.
