    This was taken at the Pretoria Zoo, so I suppose this wasnt the most difficult image to capture. The grass BG wasnt ideal, but I like the colours and details, together with the curvature of the neck.

    Stuart, perhaps it's common and fairly easy to photograph, but I think you produced a real winner. The curves and the soft light make for a nice image.

    Stuart, I really like the BG color with the Flamingo colors. Nice sharp details and cool pose.

    I like the framing and crop. Even though the neck is connected to nothing and there is just a bit of body, it works. Or maybe I should say it works because of that, the curves form a nice shape on their own.

    Love the pose and the pink/orange of the bird against the green BG. Great detail too. I might lighten the face a little.

    Nicely captured zoo ar not and as mentioned the neck curvature and head details combined with your crop make it a standout. Lovely light. I would have tried to do something with the eye to bring it out more just a touch.
