    Hi Mike.

What a regal bird! Nice capture, sharp, with a good pose, good eye contact, good space around the bird, and a textured, most interesting perch.

My only suggestion would be to try to increase the color saturation of the eye and sky just a bit.

But I think this is very well done.

This is a striking image, largely due your ability to capture bird calling. Exposure and sharpness are spot on. The image, however, looks a wee bit washed out on my monitor. I think by bringing down the dark areas a bit, the bird will pop a bit more.

I like the perch and the open beak. I do agree about the colors looking washed out and I also find the Eagle/perch to be leaning to the right of the frame...I would consider rotating the image ccw to level it.

Michael, Lovely pose and sharp details. I love the open bill. Seems a tiny bit washed out. Nice work !!

Awesome shot of an awe-inspiring bird. Love the perch and the open bill. Agree about it seeming a bit washed-out - just needs some contrast enhancement, maybe with a bit of USM set for high radius/low amount.

On my monitor, the sky in the upper part of the frame has a pinkish tint, probably due to the wispy clouds.
