    Vivaldo,

This looks remarkably red on my monitor, not that this is anything to go by, it also looks a little bright.

Composition wise I prefer this to the one with BG Lions, but in this one you have not got that fabulous expression on the Lions face.

Nice action captured Vivaldo. Can't comment on the natural colors of these guys, as I only see them in the zoo. Love the paws off the ground. Sharpness looks good, highlights could come down a bit for me as well. Well done.

Thanks Todd, tried to reduce highlight area's but this was taken at about 9.30 am. The light was already very harsh, lost a bit of detail in the highlights.

Good look at this galloping beauty. I like the up close look and all the paws off the ground. Would agree with Ken that the snarling post is the best of the two.

Vivaldo, although I really like the action you've captured here (I'm judging it on its own merits, not in comparison with earlier images), I find the high contrast from the harsh light a bit off putting. Not much you can do about it though, I suppose.

    Vivaldo,

IF you have CS4 and presumably higher you may want to try one of the adjustment layers "Linear Contrast" and drag down the curve a little on the right side.

    Reverse s-curve would help here.

another great frame from this sequence, I agree that the other expression was better.

the repost still looks a bit red Vivaldo?

I like to use Robert's multiplied highlights layer in these cases. Go to channels, click on the circle icon at the bottom of that pane - this selects the highlights. Now layer it, and set the opacity of this layer to about 30% with multiply as the blending mode.
