    Default Rufous-bellied Seedsnipe (Ecuador)

    These guys live high up in the Andes above the tree line. Despite their beautiful plumage they can be difficult to find! We got lucky with my first group in Ecuador and had a pair feeding right in front of us. It was fantastic!

    They certainly do have beautiful plumage, love the feather details.

    Nice sense of their environment , good angle in frame.

    Sounds like you had a great time Glenn! Fantastic plumage on this guy. I like the setting you got him at. You say it was feeding...did you entice it onto this particular mound with food?
