Long Way To The Top
I was out shooting some soft focus abstracts of grass at the edge of a lake, and spotted this fly and focused on him with the lens wide open to soften the cluttered BG. I didn't clean any of the noise as I like the grainy abstracty look in this one. Fuji S5 Pro, Sigma 180 macro, Tripod, F3.5

Excellent composition and just the right subject Love the selective focus on the bug !!! Big Congrats !!!
looks like his on a mission Mike!! Although small, the dark subject stands out well against the light BG. Just wish the light BG was less extensive.
This is a wonderful image and like Al it put a smile on my face when i open it.
