Hazel, nice work on the little squirt. I think it makes a great subject for scratch art with all that texture in the fur. I would probably tone down the peak whites just a bit, as they are a little distracting in the upper right part of the image.

Hazel, I think you did a good job w/ the filters and it does look like it could be scratch art. I agree w/ Kerry's suggestions and I might also evict the bright stick in the ULC.Cute little guy!
Nice image, Hazel, and I like the grainy look you got out of this. Agree with Kerry's & Denise's suggestions. I'm wondering if adding something like cross-hatch brush strokes would add to the scratch look.
thanks. I tried the cross hatch but it seemed to come out as x's rather than scratches.
I've tried 3 times to post this redo. Hope it goes through this time.....
Worked on suggestions. Also added grain texture.
Excellent repost, Hazel. Looks great as a scratch art!
Nice job imitating the scratch art look, Hazel. I find the diagonal lines of the sticks in the ULC a trifle distracting even in the repost, so I might evict those. Other than that, it looks very nice.![]()
