    Default Cityscape: downtown reflections

Old downtown Oakland reflected in newer Oakland downtown building. I liked the way the flagpoles made a leading line to the tower reflections.

Hi Allen, nice reflection telling a story as stated. Just enough bottom giving the image a sense of place.
I played with the image and cropped out the thin rt white reflection and found I liked it better...

Thanks, Dave. I thought about it, but didn't play with it long enough to decide. Here's the image without the RH strip reflection:

Nice compositions. I can't decide which version I like better, though I think the CA flag and one to its left need to be toned down.

I hit both those flags with one round of adjustment brush, but I see they could be toned down further. Thanks, Chris.

    Hey Allen,
I do like the image w/o the strip better and I agree on toning down the flags a touch more. This has a real nice graphic and liquid look to it......so very well seen! The toning down tweak will make this a winner!

I like the repost and agree the flags need to be worked on to lower the brightness and recover their details.

Well seen image and good juxtapositioning old with new.

this is quite interesting!! well done on seeing and capturing this. I vote for the OP...the image seems to need that frame on the RHS for me :)
