    Default Pintail Flyby

Hello, Shot this Pintail at Forsythe NWR in Oceanville NJ. Overcast day and I had trouble getting my exposure correct. I also needed to get my shutter speed up but, missed the wheel as my gloves got in the way. My PP consisted of cropping, levels adjustment, boosted saturation and NR. I just feel there's something off with the image still. C&C is appreciated, always looking to improve.

    Hi Al,

Only thing I would say is the Pintail is a bit centralised in the frame. Maybe a little more room for the duck to fly into? I really like the golden colors of the bird.

    regards.

My impression is exactly the same as Stuart's, so this is just another acknowledgment of your fine shot.

Great job Al! The detail in the bird is very nice. Since he is in motion I agree a little more room in the front would strengthen this. Great capture!!!

Bird in flight is not easy but you did a very good job on getting sharp and well detail flight shot. I agree with more room in front of the bird and wish the front wing is in more downward position. Very well capture here, TFS

Very nice Al. Great eye contact and wing position. May be another round of sharpening.

Lovely colours & wing position. Agree with all aboev that it just needs a bit more space in front

Lovely BIF image, Al! I agree with the positioning point already made. I'd also add that you seem to have more focus on the back wing than the front - I'd prefer to see it the other way around. You did a very nice job on exposure and on getting that wing away from the duck's face so we get a clear shot of his face and body.
