    I like this one better than the original post though I'm a sap for color. Well done. I'm just amazed you caught one of these critters napping in the wild.

    James, I've been trying to figure that out for a while... Sometimes there doesn't seem to be much logic in how the effect is applied. I find it frustrating that Redfield doesn't offer some kind of documentation for this filter. :2 As you can see on this page of their web site - http://www.redfieldplugins.com/filterFractalius.htm sometimes it follows logical pathways and other times not so much.
