    Fairy Martin

Vivaldo's lovely photo reminded me of this one. Got it in Sydney a few months ago when the Fairy Martins were busy collecting mud for the construction of their nests.

    Nearly full frame

    Ofer,
    Wonderful subject and behavior.
The image is sharp, interesting, well exposed with a beautiful background.
IMO having more above and below would make this an even stronger image.

Ofer, this is really stunning. Superb pose and raised wings. Plus the HA and mud in it's beak make it a WOW for me. Suggestion could work nicely as well. These little birds are very challanging subjects to photograph. Thanks glad you liked my image TFS

    Ofer:

Very good natural history image, tells of the behaviour, excellent techs.

I would consider a bit more room above as mentioned, and a sliver more below, but the mud could easily overpower the bird if too much included.

    Cheers

Ofer, really nice behavioral image. I can see the merit in James' suggestion but I like the fact that you were able to compose this largely in-camera (you note nearly full-frame).

Very reminiscent of Vivaldo's post, but brings the bonus of behavior to the table. Looks great! I would add a sliver of canvas to the top of the frame.
