    Default Scratch art attempt

I've had a lot going on the last two weeks and I haven't been able to participate much. This theme is eluding me and I haven't had time to figure it out. Here is my attempt - I started off with an image I'd used for Asian art week that I'd used fractalius on, a carving effect and Topaz Crisp Edges (that was for Asian week). So I then used Topaz Night to darken it up, Topaz Dramatic and finally Simplify Color Sketch to bring back in a little color
    for my scratch art.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated

Cheryl, I was just going to email you and see if you were alright. Beautiful interpretation of the theme and I love the composition. Very cool!

Hey Cheryl, it looks good to me! I don't think the theme has eluded you at all. I like the abstract look to the bg.

Really like this composition, Cheryl. I think you pulled off the scratch art look very effectively. The image really has a look of being worked and crafted, with plenty of rich textures and shapes for the eye to see. The only thing I might experiment with is either more of the brown coloring throughout, or none at all. Nice job!

    Cheryl,

Welcome back. I also like the abstract look to the image and your use of filters. Beautiful interpretation. Well done.

Beautiful work, Cheryl. I think you did a fine job emulating the scratch art look. I love all the textures. The only thing I would change would be to remove the large brown areas in the LRC. Well done!
